James was appointed to the LHSOA Executive Committee in 2017. James has been a high school volleyball official in Louisiana for the past 14 years as a member of the Thibodaux Volleyball Officials Association and is currently serving his Association as the Regional Coordinator of Officials. James is a teacher for the Terrebonne Parish School Board (19 years) and resides in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
