Area 2 Representative (Shreveport, Lafayette and North Louisiana) Wrestling Division

Doug was appointed to the LHSOA Executive Committee in April, 2017 as the representative of Wrestling in the Shreveport, Lafayette and North Louisiana areas. Doug has been a wrestling official in Louisiana since 1976 and has previously officiated in Texas, Florida, Colorado, and Georgia. He currently serves as the Assignment Secretary in Lafayette and previously served as President for New Orleans and Lafayette wrestling associations. Doug is also the Director of Training for officials for USA Wrestling in the Southwest Region. Doug was awarded the Wayne Schmidt Memorial 2007 official of the year. He is employed by the Lafayette Police Department as the Maintenance Director.
