Area 2 Representative (Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and North Louisiana) Wrestling Division

Cliff Strider is a charter and organizing member of the LHSOA and has been the North Louisiana representative since the establishment of the Association. Cliff has been a wrestling official since 1969 and has served, at one time or another, as the Assignment Secretary of the New Orleans and Baton Rouge Associations. Since 1987 Cliff has served as the wrestling rules interpreter of the LHSAA and the Head Official for the Louisiana High School Wrestling Championships. Cliff is a 2007 inductee into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and a 2013 inductee into the LHSAA Hall of Fame. Cliff is an attorney serving as an Assistant Attorney General in the Louisiana Department of Justice. He is the Director of the Gaming Division and prosecutes cases in the Criminal Division.
