Chase was appointed to the LHSOA Executive Committee in June of 2018. Chase has been umpiring high school softball for 12 years and he presently serves as the Assignment Secretary for the Hammond Softball Umpires Association, a position he has held for 3 years. Chase also is a collegiate umpire working in multiple conferences. Chase has been a Physical Education Teacher in Ascension Parish for the past 7 years and resides in Hammond, Louisiana.
