    The practice test answers this question as false. The statement in and of itself is true.

    The down is ended and the ball becomes dead when any part of the runners person other than hand or foot touches the ground. 4 – 2 – 2A…
    Yes there are 3 ways the down ends when the runner has the ball: he goes out of bounds; his forward progress is stopped; and when his body other than his hand or foot touches the ground.

    The question asks one of the ways and does not state it is the only way. This should be true.

    Thank you. Yes, the answer is true and has been changed accordingly on the practice test.



    Thank you. Question 107 is still in question. The practice test answer is wrong. The only foul that does not fall under roughing the passer is the incidental facemask foul.It is still a 5 yard penalty.
