Shane Rigdon

Area 3 Representative (New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Hammond, and Thibodaux) Baseball Division

Shane was appointed to the LHSOA Executive Committee in June 2014. Shane has been umpiring high school baseball for over 25 years in the New Orleans area with Veterans Umpires, Southern Regional Umpires and now Crescent City Umpires. He presently serves as the Assignment Secretary for Crescent City Umpires, a position he has held for the last 8 years. During this time, Shane also umpired on the college level as a non-conference umpire for over 15 years. Shane has worked as a letter carrier for the United States Post office for 31 years and resides in Metairie, Louisiana.
